The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Ian Leavers APM, who served as Queensland Cross-Border Commissioner, former President of the Queensland Police Union of Employees (QPUE), and a former QPS member.
Mr. Leavers was found deceased around 9:50 a.m. today at a residence in Mount Ommaney. His death is not considered suspicious, and investigations remain ongoing.
