Samira Wiley and Jin Ha Join the Cast of Proof on Broadway
Emmy and SAG Award winner Samira Wiley will make her Broadway debut this spring alongside Grammy Award nominee Jin Ha in the first Broadway revival of David Auburn’s play Proof, which won both the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize.
The revival is directed by Tony Award winner Thomas Kail. Wiley and Ha join previously announced stars Ayo Edebiri, an Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe Award winner, and Don Cheadle, an Academy Award nominee with two Golden Globes and eleven Emmy nominations.
The strictly limited 16-week engagement will take place at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) starting Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with the official opening night on Thursday, April 16.

A Juilliard graduate, Wiley recently returned to the London stage in The Donmar Warehouse’s production of Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel. She previously appeared in the National Theatre’s production of Blues For An Alabama Sky and starred Off-Broadway in the 2016 production of Daphne’s Dive at the Signature Theatre.
