A twin-engine plane that departed from Alliance Airport crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, resulting in the deaths of two people and igniting a fire that damaged at least ten semi-trucks.

The plane, identified as a King Air Twin Engine Aircraft, had departed from Alliance Airport. The crash and subsequent fire damaged at least ten tractor trailers and sparked grass fires, all of which were contained. The fire was brought under control within 35 minutes, by 2:11 p.m.
The Fort Worth Fire Department responded with significant resources, dispatching 10 firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances to the location.
