A collision involving four vehicles has closed the anti-clockwise M25 motorway near Junction 20 (A41 interchange) close to Watford, leading to delays up to an hour.
Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads to leave and rejoin the motorway at Junction 20. Congestion has stretched to about three miles, with delays of 30 minutes reported initially and increasing to approximately 50 minutes by 8:30pm.
National Highways reported delays of around 50 minutes as of 8:30pm, and congestion near five miles at 8pm, extending back towards the M1 motorway. Herts Police and the East of England Ambulance Service are attending the scene.
