Sheep Esports reports that Kacper “Inspired” Słoma will compete for LYON in the 2026 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). The Polish jungler has decided not to renew his contract with Flyquest and will remain in the LCS by joining LYON, a Latin American organization.
Inspired, a two-time LCS MVP, received multiple offers, including opportunities to return to Europe or stay in North America. Among the top contenders were Team Liquid, Flyquest's renewal offer, and LYON. Ultimately, Inspired chose LYON, which made a significant financial offer, reportedly the highest in the LCS for 2026.
LYON has committed to forming a strong roster for the upcoming season, confirmed to include midlaner Kang “Saint” Sung-in. The organization also plans to acquire a reputable AD Carry from South Korea to bolster their lineup.
This offseason, LYON has moved swiftly by releasing most of their 2025 roster. They also parted ways with head coach Gabriel “Khynm” Roussy and strategic coach Tobías “Pointless” Riscica, who led the team to championships in 2023 and 2024.
“LYON is talking to proven LTA Head Coaches as potential replacements. They’re aiming to return to their winning ways, a stark contrast from a disappointing debut in LTA.”
LYON's management is actively seeking experienced coaching talent to guide the new roster, signaling high hopes for a successful 2026 season.
Author's Summary: LYON secures star jungler Inspired with a top offer, revamps roster and coaching staff, aiming to rebound strongly in the 2026 LCS season.
