Intel's Panther Lake mobile processors are set to debut in 2026, featuring up to 16 CPU cores and advanced Xe3 graphics aimed at high-performance laptops.
The upcoming Core Ultra 300 series, based on Intel’s 18A manufacturing process, is a successor to the Lunar Lake generation. It employs a hybrid architecture combining different core types and integrated Xe3 graphics.
The number of graphics cores differs across models. Entry-level variants come with two GPU cores, while premium "X" versions, including the Core Ultra X9 388H and Ultra X7 series, feature a powerful 12-core Arc B390 Xe3 GPU.
Intel's leak source on X revealed, “The flagship Core Ultra X9 388H model with up to 16 CPU cores, which includes 4 high-performance Cougar Cove P-cores, 8 Skymont efficiency cores and 4 low-power efficiency cores.”
