Brendan Fevola Shares Experience of Unexpected Home Intrusion

Footy legend Brendan Fevola revealed he was startled by a strange home intrusion over the weekend, fearing for the safety of his family. Preparing to take his youngest daughter, Tobi, rollerskating, Fevola was shocked to find an elderly woman and her dog inside his house as they were leaving.

“Oh my god, I’ve had an intruder,” Fevola told the Fifi, Fev and Nick show. “I turn around and see this old lady with a dog walking into our house with a dog and the dog just comes in and I go: ‘Hello?’”

The former Carlton and Brisbane AFL player initially worried the situation was a setup, suspecting the woman might be scouting his home for a potential robbery during Halloween weekend.

“I was like: ‘Is this person scoping my house out? Get old people to come into my house and see what you’ve got and later on you get robbed.’ I was like: ‘Is this a set-up?’”
