Pizza, prizes and positions up for grabs at UK’s first Domino’s pod
Domino’s is celebrating the launch of its innovative new ‘pod’ store in Wellington with a weekend event full of prizes, discounts, and local job opportunities. Visitors can expect more than just pizza as the company continues to mark this milestone.
A compact but complete Domino’s experience
Situated in Westpark 26 Business Park, the new store is the first of its kind in the UK. The compact design, around 25 percent smaller than a standard branch, has already brought 25 new jobs to the local area, including pizza chefs, in-store staff, and delivery drivers.
Grand opening celebration
The official launch earlier this month featured a ribbon-cutting led by Mayor Janet Lloyd. Over 100 free pizzas and a special ‘Golden Ticket’ prize draw delighted residents as part of the festivities.
More celebration ahead
Those who missed the opening can still join in. On Saturday, November 8, the store will continue celebrating its first week with more giveaways, including pizza vouchers and exclusive Domino’s merchandise.
