Angel City's Chris Paul and Julie Foudy Join NWSL Advisory Board

Two investors from Angel City are set to help shape the future of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) through a newly formed Advisory Board.

New Advisory Board Formation

On November 6, 2025, the NWSL announced the creation of its first-ever Advisory Board. This group is a collective of investors, cultural leaders, and soccer legends dedicated to accelerating the league’s growth, expanding its cultural influence, and advancing women’s soccer globally.

Objectives and Leadership

The Advisory Board aims to foster new partnership opportunities and broaden the league's reach as one of the top professional soccer leagues worldwide. The board is led by League Commissioner Jessica Berman.

Angel City Representation

Angel City will be represented by co-founder and former US Women's National Soccer Team captain Julie Foudy, along with minority investor Chris Paul. Each NWSL club will have up to two delegates on the board.

Notable Members

Along with Angel City's representatives, the board includes prominent athletes and influential figures from business and entertainment, all current investors in NWSL clubs.

Julie Foudy is a founding co-owner of Angel City FC. She has transitioned from a 20-year career at ESPN to becoming a soccer analyst and commentator for TNT Sports.
