The Wallabies have announced a 34-man, all-Australian-based squad for their upcoming tour, featuring Carter Gordon, who has returned to rugby after a stint in rugby league, and ex-All Black Aidan Ross.
The challenge certainly doesn’t get any easier with five consecutive Tests on the road against high-quality international opposition.
The squad, named by Joe Schmidt, includes two uncapped players and two players returning from injury. Notably, the team will be without French-based Will Skelton and English-based James O’Connor and Len Ikitau for the initial matches against Japan and England.
The tour kicks off against Japan in Tokyo on October 25, followed by a match against England in London on November 1.
