The Celebrity Traitors has come to an end, with Alan Carr emerging victorious despite his nerves and trademark loud personality. Yet one question lingered after the finale—were Alan and singer Paloma Faith, the real-life friend he “murdered” early in the series, still on good terms?
During the final episode of The Celebrity Traitors companion show, Uncloaked, host Ed Gamble put Alan on the spot in front of the audience, asking if he owed Paloma an apology.
“Now with the nation watching, do you think it's time for an apology? I mean, Paloma's sat right there.”
Alan fidgeted in his seat but couldn’t resist turning it into a joke.
“I am so sorry. You know I am, and I want to tell everyone that I'm the father of a child. We had a make-up hug, one thing led to another.”
Paloma, who is expecting her fourth child, responded with warmth and honesty about the emotions she felt watching the show and Alan’s triumph.
“Observing tonight and going through all my hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason why Alan won, and why I was so sad, was because we all love him so much. I love you so much and I’m so happy that you won because it was bloody worth it. But I think most people didn’t vote for you because they thought—how can we vote for someone that’s so lovable? It really concludes that you won, you hurt me, and I loved you, but…”
Alan wrapped the exchange with another joke, referencing Paloma’s 2014 hit single.
“Only love can hurt like that.”
Paloma Faith and Alan Carr exchanged heartfelt words and humor on The Celebrity Traitors reunion, turning past competition tension into a warm, emotional moment of friendship.
