Actor Jacob Elordi collaborates with celebrated photographer Duane Michals in the latest fashion campaign for Italian brand Bottega Veneta. This marks a new chapter in the brand’s ongoing relationship with the art world.
Elordi visited Michals’s living room in Gramercy Park, where the 93-year-old photographer captured a series of black-and-white images. The photos show Elordi engaging with surreal props such as flowers, feathers, branches, and a distorting mirror—hallmarks of Michals’s unique visual style.
The new campaign, titled What Are Dreams, features a short film showcasing Elordi reading a poem by Michals while sitting in a rocking chair. His soft recital is accompanied by piano music, creating a contemplative atmosphere.
“It is our enigmatic fate that we must dream in time and wait,” Elordi softly recites in the film.
Bottega Veneta named Jacob Elordi as their brand ambassador in 2024, making this campaign their latest creative collaboration.
