Jacob Elordi's Role
Elordi appears in a series of dreamlike scenes, inspired by the surrealism of Giorgio de Chirico and René Magritte, which have long influenced Michals’ style.
Elordi reads Michals’ 2001 poem What Are Dreams, described as a reflection on “midnight movies of the mind,” with handwritten text appearing visually throughout the film.
