Canon has unveiled the EOS R6 Mark III, a full-frame mirrorless camera designed for both enthusiasts and professionals. It features a newly developed 32.5-megapixel full-frame sensor, previously introduced in the Canon EOS C50 cinema camera, paired with Canon’s latest DIGIC X processor.
The R6 III offers 34% higher resolution compared to the R6 II without compromising speed. However, the maximum native ISO has been reduced from 102,400 on the R6 II to 64,000 on the R6 III.
"The new camera also inherits Canon’s latest and greatest autofocus system, promising improved autofocus performance and subject detection compared to the R6 II."
This autofocus upgrade enhances accuracy and tracking, taking advantage of technology from Canon’s professional-grade R1 and R5 II cameras.
The Canon R6 III blends a higher-resolution sensor with advanced AF and faster shooting speeds, making it a versatile choice for photographers and videographers alike.
