Church of Jesus Christ Names New Apostle

Presiding Bishop Gérald Caussé was announced on Thursday as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

New Apostolic Calling

At 62 years old, Elder Caussé has served as the church's presiding bishop for the past 11 years. He was called to the apostleship and ordained on the same day by President Dallin H. Oaks, along with other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
