Former NFL star Antonio Brown has been extradited from Dubai to face trial in Miami on an attempted murder charge.
The charge relates to a shooting that occurred outside an amateur boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood on May 16. Brown, a wide receiver known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers during his 12-year career, allegedly fired two shots at a man after a confrontation at the event.
According to an arrest warrant issued in June, Brown reportedly grabbed a firearm from a security official's right hip area and fired at a man identified as Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu.
Video footage from the May event, shared on social media, shows Brown engaged in a fight during the boxing event hosted by streamer and internet personality Adin Ross.
