Jessica Simpson surprised fans with a dramatically altered appearance in the new Hulu series All’s Fair. In her first acting role in over ten years, she wore facial prosthetics to portray Lee-Ann, a woman whose plastic surgeries went disastrously wrong.
To fully embody Lee-Ann, Simpson endured eight hours of prosthetic makeup each day. She described the process as intense but rewarding, telling Entertainment Tonight,
“Filming All’s Fair was incredible. I had a blast. I did eight hours of prosthetics, so it was very intense.”
Simpson emphasized that she was playing someone very different from herself, saying,
“I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting.”
In flashback scenes, Lee-Ann falls for a rock star at a concert. The couple becomes intimate multiple times before the man advises her to get plastic surgery after turning 40. She undergoes surgery but suffers severe complications, leading her to seek legal help from Kim Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant.
The drastic change in Simpson's appearance stunned viewers and sparked numerous reactions online, highlighting how dramatically the prosthetics transformed her look.
