The draw for this year’s ATP Finals has been finalized, with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner leading the two groups. Novak Djokovic, seeded No. 4, has qualified and been included but has yet to confirm his attendance.
Djokovic, currently competing in the ATP 250 tournament in Athens, said he will decide on his participation after his campaign there concludes. He has been placed in the Jimmy Connors Group, which includes No. 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz, along with Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur.
The eighth and final spot remains open as Felix Auger-Aliassime and Lorenzo Musetti contend for entry. Auger-Aliassime holds the current eighth place in the race, but Musetti can claim the position if he wins the Athens title this Saturday.
“We are waiting on the identity of our eighth player. By way of explanation, we have Lorenzo Musetti, who will qualify if he wins the current event in Athens. Anything less and the position will go to Felix Auger-Aliassime,” explained ATP Tour supervisor Gerry Armstrong before the draw in Turin.
Djokovic’s decision remains awaited, adding an element of uncertainty to the ATP Finals lineup.
Novak Djokovic’s participation in the ATP Finals remains uncertain despite confirming his spot, while the final place hinges on the Athens ATP 250 outcome between Musetti and Auger-Aliassime.
