German leisure airline Condor has concluded 35 years of Boeing 757 operations by organizing a farewell flight featuring the last jet of this type in its fleet. The event marked the end of an era for the carrier’s short and medium-haul services.
On November 5, 2025, the final Boeing 757-300, registered as D-ABOM and painted in a red-and-white candy-striped livery, carried over 100 passengers from Frankfurt to Vienna on a symbolic round-trip before being retired from active use.
For more than three decades, the Boeing 757 has been a central part of Condor’s operations. According to ch-aviation, the airline employed 18 Boeing 757-200s and nine extended 757-300s during this period.
In recent weeks, Condor withdrew the remaining aircraft from operation, with several transported to Cotswold Airport in the United Kingdom for dismantling and parting out.
The farewell flight included long-serving Condor employees, journalists, and aviation enthusiasts devoted to the Boeing 757 model. A total of 75 tickets were auctioned through Condor’s online shop in September 2025 for those wishing to join the final journey.
“For over 30 years, the pencil-like shape of the Boeing 757 has formed the backbone of Condor’s short and medium-haul fleet.”
The farewell flight from Frankfurt to Vienna marked the close of Condor’s iconic Boeing 757 chapter after more than three decades of faithful service.
