Panthers to Face Wichita Carroll
Great Bend's football team, led by coach Erin Beck, is set to host Wichita Carroll in a second-round 5A showdown at Memorial Stadium.
According to coach Beck,
"It's 5A West playoff time. We're at the point where we'll have to play four quarters. Our kids are fresh and ready to go."
The Panthers have a history with Wichita Carroll, with their lone trip to the 5A state football championship game occurring after a 21-14 victory over the team in 2006.
Wichita Carroll, with a 5-2 all-time advantage over the Panthers, is led by dual-threat quarterback John Corrigan and main backfield threat Cooper Herrman.
