The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) plans a 21-kilometre double-decker flyover linking Shil Phata junction to Ranjnoli junction in Bhiwandi via Kalyan.
The double-decker flyover aims to ease traffic and integrate metro lines, with a four-lane road on the lower level and metro tracks on the upper level.
Once completed, this massive infrastructure will become India’s longest city flyover, combining both metro and vehicular traffic routes, and integrating with significant infrastructure corridors.
