Report Reveals New Allegations Against Neil Foden
A new report has found that more individuals have come forward alleging sexual abuse by Neil Foden, dating back to 1979.
Foden, 68, was previously jailed for 17 years in July 2024 for 19 counts of sexual abuse against four girls between 2019 and 2023.
Child Practice Review Investigation
The North Wales Safeguarding Board conducted a Child Practice Review (CPR) investigation, which has been published and includes 27 recommendations.
Since Foden’s conviction in July 2024, further victims have come forward. The earliest alleged sexual abuse was in 1979 when Foden had just qualified as a teacher and was in his first post.
The report notes that the victim from 1979 agrees that reviewing practices from that time would not increase current learning, given the significant changes in society’s understanding of child sexual abuse.
It has issued 27 recommendations.
