First Alert Weather: Tracking wind and showers for late Monday

A cold front is expected to arrive later today, bringing wind and rain after a nice Monday morning. Temperatures will rise to the low to mid 50s before dropping back into the 40s once the showers hit.

The rain threat is timed for early to mid afternoon, with a brief heavier shower possible around 2PM. Wind will increase with the front, with gusts over 30mph expected in Rochester and the Finger Lakes, and a few gusts closer to 40mph west of the metro.
