The world of fragrance celebrates the French capital, with both historic houses and new brands presenting their olfactory interpretations of the city.
On a Thursday evening in September, a boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris's 1st arrondissement hosted the launch of Solférino, a new fragrance brand created by Philippe Benacin, co-founder of Interparfums.
"I wanted to rekindle the link between high perfumery and the Parisian imagination,"
said the entrepreneur about his personal collection. The company's offices are located at 10 Rue de Solférino, the former Socialist Party headquarters in Paris' 7th arrondissement. Author's summary: Paris inspires perfumers.
