India Demands End to Human Rights Abuses in Kashmir
India has demanded that Pakistan end the "grave" human rights abuses in the illegally occupied parts of Kashmir.
"In the last few weeks alone, the occupying Pakistani forces and their proxies have killed many innocent civilians who are agitating for their basic rights and freedoms" in parts of Kashmir it occupies
According to Bhavika Managalanandan, a First Secretary at India's UN Mission, Pakistan's forces have suppressed the people's open revolt in the occupied areas.
