Google Unites Gemini CLI and Jules Agent
Google has launched the Jules extension for Gemini CLI, integrating its asynchronous AI coding agent directly into the terminal to reduce context switching for developers.
The Jules extension allows developers to manage all AI prompts from one structured library, and it is also compatible with other tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, AI Studio, and Mistral, with features like versioning, export/import, hotkey access, and bookmarks-bar support.
