The Hauser Fire Department is persevering after its building burned down three weeks ago in Hauser, Oregon.
Despite the challenges, the department is currently operating from a donated RV, which was given to them a few days after the fire.
"Every time you turn around you have another challenge because you go to do stuff like normal, that stuff’s not there anymore,” says Chief Jerry Wharton. “You just have to adapt and overcome and that's something that we do on a regular basis in everything that we respond to.
The department is adapting to the new circumstances and finding ways to continue serving the community.
