Sixers Storm Back to Shock Wizards in OT
The Philadelphia 76ers, now 4-0 on the season, made a remarkable comeback from a 19-point deficit late in the game to remain unbeaten.
The Sixers, still without Jared McCain and Paul George, debuted Trendon Watford, who returned from a hamstring injury. Joel Embiid also returned to the lineup after sitting out the previous night's game.
Tyrese Maxey had a strong start, scoring 12 points in the first quarter, including 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. However, the Wizards' hot shooting and the Sixers' poor defense put them in a 40-32 hole after the first quarter, with Alex Sarr leading the Wizards with 13 points.
