NYPD Surveillance System Sparks Lawsuit
An NYPD camera in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood is pointing directly into the bedroom of Pamela Wridt and Robert Sauve, prompting a lawsuit against the city.
“It can see potentially directly into any part of our house,”
Sauve told The Intercept. The camera is part of a vast network of public and private cameras that feed into a massive warrantless surveillance system used by police to track and profile millions of New Yorkers daily.
