Real Living Wage 2025 Rise: What Employers Must Consider

The Real Living Wage has increased by nearly 7% for 2025-2026, affecting businesses who pay this voluntary hourly rate.

The Living Wage Foundation reports that the hourly rate will increase by 95p to £14.80 in London and by 85p to £13.45 for the rest of the country.

This change results in more than £2,418 more per year in the UK and over £5,050 more in London, compared to the legal minimum.
