Healthcare Employee Satisfaction Falls for Second Straight Month
Employee satisfaction in healthcare and social sciences decreased by four points, from 128 in September to 124 in October, according to ADP's Employee Motivation and Commitment Index.
This marks the second consecutive month of decline, following a 12-point decrease from August to September, from 140 to 128.
- Healthcare and social sciences sector's EMC score was 139 a year ago, down from 144 the previous month.
- Only three sectors saw improvement in October, with the information sector having the largest gain, adding 10 points to 149.
The EMC Index tracks how people think and feel about their jobs and employers each month.
