LIIN Catalyses Next Wave of Impact Investment in Sri Lanka
On 22 October 2025, the Lanka Impact Investment Network (LIIN) announced key initiatives, marking a transformative era in Sri Lanka's economy and impact investment landscape.
Chandula Abeywickrama, Founder and Chairman of LIIN, introduced the Impact Investment Summit 2026, noting that impact investments and green financing are relatively new in Sri Lanka, but have been prioritized in developed economies for 25 years.
Nurturing genuine entrepreneurship in a country depends on key stakeholders in investment, banking, finance, and the public and private sectors seeing the bigger picture.
