Pan Pacific Open: Rybakina Withdraws from Semifinals
Elena Rybakina was forced to withdraw from the Pan Pacific Open semifinal in Tokyo due to a back injury.
Her withdrawal came just a day after securing her place at the season-ending WTA Finals and handed Linda Noskova a walkover into the final.
- Linda Noskova will face either Sofia Kenin or Belinda Bencic in the final.
- Rybakina had looked in fine form all week but expressed disappointment due to her back problems.
"I'm very sorry I can't play today," said Rybakina. "I have been having problems with my back this week and can't play 100 per cent."
