Woman Sentenced to Life in Prison for Heinous Crimes in Paris
A 27-year-old woman from Algeria, Dahbia Benkired, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for raping, torturing, and murdering 12-year-old Lola Daviet in Paris three years ago.
According to CNN affiliate BFMTV, Benkired must spend at least 30 years in prison for her crimes.
She is the first woman in France to receive this sentence, which is the harshest under the French penal code, as reported by BFMTV.
