Small Business Week: Mike's Hardware, Doors and So Much More
Almost every small town in North America has a grocery store, a gas station, and a hardware store. The hardware store often serves as a meeting place where builders can share notes and stories.
Amanda Dawe, owner of Mike's Hardware, Doors and So Much More, recalls that her father-in-law ran the original store 45 years prior to her ownership. He operated it out of his house basement with limited inventory.
Amanda says the original concept is still there but now with a whole lot more inventory.
