A 32-year-old man from Flint has been charged with robbing a Fifth Third Bank branch in Troy.
According to the authorities, Jacquan Coreyonteliace Burks-Burnett allegedly entered the bank wearing a face mask, gloves, and yellow glasses and demanded money from two tellers.
Witnesses told police he walked to the Somerset mall parking lot and left a vehicle, which didn’t have a license plate.
Police used Flock footage to identify the vehicle and track down the defendant. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no one was injured during the incident.
If convicted, Burks-Burnett could face a lifetime prison sentence.
