Assailant Viewed Gau Rakshak as Obstacle in Cattle Business Operations
Three individuals have been arrested, and one suspect remains at large following the shooting of Gau Rakshak Prashanth Kumar, also known as Sonu Singh, at the Pocharam IT corridor.
The investigation, led by Rachakonda Commissioner G Sudheer Babu, has shed light on the circumstances surrounding the crime and the efforts to apprehend all those involved.
The shooting, which occurred on a Wednesday night, sent shockwaves through Hyderabad's law enforcement community.
Gau Rakshak Prashanth Kumar was shot in the chest by cattle trader Mohammed Ibrahim Qureshi, reportedly due to a long-standing feud stemming from repeated police action against Qureshi's illegal cattle transport operations, which had been a source of tension in the area.
The assailant viewed the Gau Rakshak as a stumbling block in his cattle business operations.
