Inside Beirut’s “DIVAS” Exhibition

A tribute to the women who shaped Arab music, “DIVAS: From Oum Koulthoum to Dalida” is on display at Beirut’s Sursock Museum from October 17, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

The exhibition features cinematic screens, vintage posters, and couture gowns, including Fayrouz’s Baalbeck costumes and Sabah’s stage looks, showcasing the golden age of Arab art.

Beyond the glamour, the exhibition highlights how these women used their voices to challenge norms and inspire independence movements, bridging Cairo, Beirut, and the world through their music and films.

The exhibition is an immersive tribute to the artists who defined Arab music, cinema, and style from the 1920s to today.

After touring Paris, Amsterdam, and Amman, the celebrated exhibition has arrived in Beirut, hosted by the Sursock Museum and presented by the Arab World Institute.
