A pet with salmonella infection may exhibit symptoms such as:
- lethargy
- diarrhea or bloody diarrhea
- fever
- vomiting
Infected pets who appear healthy can be carriers and infect other animals or humans.
Humans are at risk of infection if they handle the product and do not thoroughly wash their hands.
