Reform UK Party Suspends 4 More Kent Councillors Amid Infighting
Reform UK is facing turmoil after suspending four more councillors on Kent County Council due to leaked footage of a meeting showing bitter infighting among its members.
The leaked recording is particularly embarrassing for the party, as Kent County Council is seen as a test case for its governing abilities.
Linden Kemkaran, the leader, told councillors to "fucking suck it up" if they did not agree with decisions made by her.
A Reform UK spokesperson confirmed that Paul Thomas, Oliver Bradshaw, Bill Barret, and Maxine Fothergrill have had the whip suspended pending an investigation.
The party's internal conflicts have raised concerns about its ability to deliver for residents, with councillors complaining about "backbiting" and being ignored by their leader.
