Housatonic Man Sentenced to Probation in Child Pornography Case

A 38-year-old Housatonic man has been sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to five felony child pornography charges.

The charges stem from a 2021 Snapchat tip that triggered a police investigation. The man, Naventi, pleaded guilty in Berkshire Superior Court in July to one count of possession of child pornography, three counts of distributing material of a child in the nude, and one count of distributing material of a child engaged in a sexual act.

A coalition of police and detectives from numerous agencies are continuing to investigate after a search warrant was executed.
