Recently, south Kildare teams have shown exceptional performance in their respective sports.
The Clonmullion Soccer Club, founded in 1995, has once again emerged as the 2025 KDFL Lumsden Cup Winners, defeating Kildare town with a score of 2-1.
Athy GFC, St Laurence’s GFC, and Grangenolvin GFC have also achieved notable success, with Grangenolvin Gaelic Football Club winning the Junior Championship final.
