Los Altos Football Moves Closer to League Title
Los Altos quarterback Diego Castillo threw three touchdown passes to help his team remain undefeated.
Los Altos continued to show its strength after a 28-14 victory over Chino, remaining undefeated in its chase toward a Hacienda League title.
- Conquerors quarterback Diego Castillo completed 13 of 25 passes for 140 yards and three touchdowns.
- Safety Marques Garcia had a key sack in the second quarter and a game-sealing interception with 2:41 left to stamp the victory.
Los Altos improved to 8-0 and 3-0 in league play, setting up a big game at Diamond Bar (3-5, 3-0) next week for the league lead.
“Los Altos is for real,” a confident Garcia said. “The schedule says it for itself. We’re 8-0 and we’re gonna just keep winning games.”
Despite having a 3-TD performance, Los Altos quarterback Diego Castillo was critical of his own performance.
