FP Canada is preparing prospective investment dealer representatives for the new exam-based proficiency regime set by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
“We are developing study resources for candidates who want to challenge the two new retail securities exams,” said Alexandra Macqueen, vice-president of learning, development and professional practice with FP Canada.
The two exams are the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam, which are required for registration as a registered representative at an investment dealer.
FP Canada is developing study resources for these exams through its educational arm, the FP Canada Institute.
