Lumberton’s Lawson, Lady Pirates win at Tri-County cross country championship
The Tri-County Conference Cross Country Championship took place on Tuesday at the Lumbee Tribe Cultural Center in Maxton.
Nathan Lawson of Lumberton won the boys’ race, finishing in 17 minutes, 8 seconds. The top three finishers were:
- Nathan Lawson (Lumberton) - 17:08
- Collin Shick (Cape Fear) - 17:17
- Christopher Shick (Cape Fear) - 17:18
Zoe Dorsey of Terry Sanford won the girls’ race with a time of 20:47.
