The men's and women's cross country teams both finished in fourth place at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday.
Cassondra O'Connor led the women's team with a second place finish in the 5k, completing the race in 17:08.00, just behind Glennville State's Natalie Barr (17:06.70).
Edinboro's women's team took first place, followed by Ashland University in second, and Slippery Rock University in third.
Elijah Bechdel was the top finisher for the men's team, finishing 13th in the 8k with a time of 25:22.40.
I am very happy with my performance. Not only was it a personal best, but as I felt very comfortable, which is something I’ve been looking for as someone who is still new to 8k races.
