DC is in desperate need of another horror headliner, and they already have the perfect character for it.
DC is best known for their superhero comics, but they also excel in subgenres like mystery, romance, and horror.
In the past, DC had incredible horror comics, including Saga of the Swamp Thing by Alan Moore and John Constantine, Hellblazer.
These horror stories showed a new perspective on the DC world, scratching the itch for darker stories while keeping classic superheroic elements.
However, in recent years, the amount of horror comics from DC has decreased significantly.
