Indianapolis Woman Dies in Bartholomew County Crash
A 35-year-old Indianapolis woman, Amanda Seguin, died in a crash on Interstate 65 in northern Bartholomew County on Sunday night.
According to the Indiana State Police, the single-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m. near the Edinburgh exit. Seguin suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bartholomew County Coroner's Office.
- Seguin was driving northbound when she lost control of her vehicle.
- She left the roadway and crashed into a concrete barrier.
- Her vehicle then continued down an embankment, flipped over, and Seguin was thrown from the crash.
- Authorities believe she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Despite lifesaving efforts, Seguin was pronounced dead at the scene.
