Bond Set for Suspect in Vicksburg Weekend Disturbance
A disturbance in downtown Vicksburg led to the injury of one man and the arrest of another. The Vicksburg Police Department responded to a call on Washington Street, where they found Charles Coleman with multiple wounds.
Police identified 36-year-old Jonathan Ramphrey as the suspect. Coleman was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, treated, and later released. Ramphrey appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter for his initial appearance, with a bond set at $50K.
The case is still under investigation by the Vicksburg Police Department.
