Army Awards Raytheon $5B Contract
The Army has awarded Raytheon a $5 billion contract for the Coyote Missile System.
The contract includes the purchase of launchers, kinetic and non-kinetic interceptors, and Ku-band radio frequency system radars, as announced by the Pentagon.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is set to be completed by September 28, 2033, with work locations and funding to be determined with each order.
The contract announcement was made one day before the end of fiscal year 2025.
